For those who believe in saying it with diamonds, gold, silver and precious stones, leading jewellery brand D'damas recently unveiled a glittering collection of rakhiwear. While the rest of India will celebrate 'Rakshabandhan' on Monday, actress Mahima Chowdhary and her brother Siddharth got into the festive spirit early at the launch. Interestingly Mahima did not pick from the costly threads on display when it came to expressing her own sentiments.
"My brother always frets about the kind of rakhi I tie as he's very particular about the size and look. Siddharth does not like loud colours and extravagant designs. I have therefore chosen something more traditional and muted for him - it is simple, elegant yet beautiful," said the Pardes girl.
