Music, poster making on second day

THE SECOND day of the three-day inter-district Youth Festival being held at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidylaya (DAVV) auditorium, Khandwa Road saw large participation today.
According to Dean Students Welfare (DSW) Dr Maya Ingle seven activities were held yesterday, seven today and eight activities would be held tomorrow. Out of the activities held today classical song (solo), group song, ‘sugam sangeet’, mime, collage and poster making were held at the new auditorium, while debating was held at IIPS auditorium.
The activities witnessed good participation with teams from all seven districts of the division showing interest in participating in the events.
Of the eight events to be held tomorrow western song (solo and group), one act play, skit, clay modeling and rangoli would be held at the new auditorium, while GK quiz competition and symposium on the topic of ‘moral values in this competitive age’ would be held at IIPS auditorium. Minister for Higher and Technical Education Tukoji Rao Puar who would be visiting the university in the morning tomorrow is expected to participate in the closing ceremony of the Youth festival.
