NCRMU to split into two

MEMBERS OF the North Central Railway Men?s Union (NCRMU) have decided to split into two groups. They have decided to do for the ensuing delegate election of Northern Railway Primary Cooperative Bank, Allahabad, following delay in inquiry into the alleged unfair election of loco branch on September 30.

At a meeting held here on Saturday, former branch secretary of the union AK Bharadwaj said two central office-bearers were nominated to initiate inquiry into the matter but no action was taken so far.

Lecture: As part of the lecture series organised by National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) on discoveries in physical and biological sciences, a session was held in Mary Lucas School and College.

Prof AK Gupta, Head of Department of JK Institute of Applied Physics, Allahabad University gave lecture on electronics and wireless telegraphy of radio.

Special train: The North Central Railway decided to run a special train (0231/0232) between Howrah and New Delhi.

Train number 0231 will leave Howrah at 6:45 pm on Sunday and reach Allahabad at 8:10 am and New Delhi at 7:25 pm.

It will also halt at Mughalsarai and Kanpur. During return journey, the train number 0232 will leave New Delhi at 7:05 am on November 7 and reach Allahabad at 4:50 pm and Howrah at 6 pm the next day, according to a press release.
