Night cleaning of roads begins
NIGHT CLEANING of roads on the pattern of Hyderabad city has been finally kicked off in the Sangam city on Sunday night. The district magistrate and Nagar Nigam administrator, Amrit Abhijat, inaugurated the night cleaning drive of the roads at Nakhas Kohna here on Sunday evening. Around 60 safai karmcharis have been deployed for the work.

The district magistrate and Nagar Nigam administrator, Amrit Abhijat, inaugurated the night cleaning drive of the roads at Nakhas Kohna here on Sunday evening. Around 60 safai karmcharis have been deployed for the work.
These workers have been given special uniform for the purpose.
The night cleaning work will be carried out daily between 9 pm and 1.30 am on the six main routes selected by Nagar Nigam it its first phase of the plan. The roads selected for the first phase include road beginning from historic Neem tree in Chowk to Tulsi crossing in Civil Lines via Johnstonganj, old Grand Trunk Road from Sulaki crossing to Shahganj police station in Nakhas Kohna, MG Marg from Tulsi crossing to High Court crossing, Sardar Patel Marg, Lal Bhadur Shashtri Marg and road from Maharana Pratap statue crossing to Luxmi Talkies crossing in Katra.
Administrator has appealed the citizens to dump garbage in front of their houses and commercial establishments by 9 pm so that it may be removed during the night cleaning drive.
