As a senior leader pledged the party's unconditional support from outside to the Karunanidhi Government in Tamil Nadu, Congress said on Friday that no final decision has been taken and the party Working Committee would decide the issue in a day or two.

"There is no final decision about it. The Congress Working Committee/ High Command will take a decision in a day or two", party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.

His reaction was at variance with reports from Chennai where Veerappa Moily met Karunanidhi and offered his party's unconditional support from outside.

The arrangement in Tamil Nadu was in return for a similar support to a minority government to be headed by Congress in neighbouring Pondicherry.

Replying to questions, Shukla insisted that Congress Working Committee will decide in a day or two on the nature of support.

He said he was not aware whether party chief Sonia Gandhi or any other leader would be going to Chennai tomorrow to be present at the swearing-in ceremony of Karunanidhi and his council of Ministers.
