Six out of ten said the comfy style of men's shorts are more appealing than skimpy thongs.

Almost two thirds wear "boy shorts", like boxers but shorter than the men's.

Sixty per cent of men find women in boxers a turn-on but just a quarter find G-strings appealing, a poll for catalogue La Redoute found.
