Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday ruled out snap polls in the country saying the UPA government would last its full term.
"We will present our budgets for the next fiscal and, therefore, there is no question of early Lok Sabha elections," he told reporters in the Capital.
"There will be elections in Karnataka and some other states also," Prasad said.
In Karanataka, the BJP could not form the government thanks to Deve Gowda, he said after flagging off a special Buddhist train from the Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi.
