Some voters in Bahalda assembly segment of Mayurbhanj (ST) parliamentary constituency boycotted polling to protest the lack of development work in their villages, official sources said.

None of the voters in the three booths of Dhalajudi, Badasia and Matiali, went to cast their votes, the sources said.
About 300 voters under Uparpara booth under Rairangpur assembly segment resorted to a sit in protest in front of the polling booth as their names were missing from the voters' list.
They threatened to paralyze the poll process if no remedial action was taken.
Police forces have rushed to the spot, the sources said.
