DLF distributes water through its own channels after receiving supply from the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda). “We are only responsible for distribution of water that we get from Huda. Leakage in the Gurgaon water supply canal disrupted water supply, affecting our area. We held a meeting with Huda in this regard,” said Balji Singh, official, DLF management.

DLF Phase 1-3 were the worst affected. “All our storage tanks are empty. We pay money to DLF and hold it responsible for the crisis,” said RS Rathee, president of Gurgaon Citizens Council.
