EVEN AFTER the repair of the Kolar pipeline, water supply in many areas remained disrupted. Residents complained of muddied water and low-pressure supply in several areas.

Water supply is expected to normalise from Sunday morning all over the City. The repair work of the main pipeline of Kolar supply system was completed by Friday evening. However, the water released from Kolar filtration plant reached by Saturday morning at Kolar Square.

BMC officials claimed to have restored water supply on Saturday morning in some new Bhopal areas. Admitting supply of muddied water in the areas

covered today morning, the BMC officials said this problem would be solved from Sunday. The officials said that the overhead tanks in other areas of the City were also filled today evening. Meanwhile, BMC chairman Ramdayal Prajapati inspected the Kolar pipeline and issued directives to officials. He told them to also repair small leakages in Kolar pipeline.

He directed the officials to provide the oxygen masks to the BMC team involved in the repair work. Besides, Prajpati also emphasised to keep the record of pipeline maintenance work.
