An NRI diamond merchant was reported missing in Bangkok for the last 15 days, family sources said in Surat on Friday night.
Shriphal Mehta, nephew of former Navsari Chamber of Commerce President Ashok Mehta, was suspected to have been abducted as he had a diamond worth Rs 8 crore in his possession, they said.
