NSA leaving for Sri Lanka, calls on Karunanidhi
National Security Advisor MK Narayanan will be leaving for Sri Lanka today to discuss the rehabilitation of Tamil civilians in the war-ravaged island nation. Before leaving for SL, Narayanan also met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to seek his advice. Referring to LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran, he said, "As far as we are aware he is no more, but we will get further confirmation."
