Some vital facts such as the police commissioner’s name have been given wrong.
KK Sindhu replaced then police commissioner SS Deswal in November last year, but the website still shows Deswal as the police commissioner.
Not only this, SHO Babu Lal, who has been transferred from the DLF Phase-2 police station, but his picture has not been removed from the site.
However, the new SHO’s name has been put on the site.
Besides, traffic-related information has not been updated on the site since August 2011.
The police last year had said that they would make the site more user-friendly and claimed that a dedicated team was working on it.
In May 2011, the then joint commissioner of police, Alok Mittal, had said that the website would be more user-friendly. The city police had also decided to launch a separate Facebook page.
Mittal had said it would help make the department more transparent and accountable.
The Gurgaon traffic police on social networking site Facebook is popular among users. The page has 6,242 followers.
