"The latest instance is when (Omar) Abdullah went in a state aircraft to campaign for Congress candidates in Jharkhand," state BJP president Ashok Khajuria flanked by Leader of Legislature Party Chaman Lal Gupta told reporters.
Pointing out that the state Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather had announced austerity measures to curb unproductive expenditure, they said, the Chief Minister had frequently been using the official aircraft for political activities at the cost of state exchequer.
