Pak opposition leader shot dead

Nasrullah Jatoi, leader of Pakistan's Peoples Party was shot dead by unidentified militants.

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a former provincial minister and a leader of opposition Pakistan's Peoples Party in eastern Punjab province on Wednesday, police said.

Nasrullah Jatoi came under attack in the city of Multan, they said. Jatoi was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

Police have ruled out any political motive behind the murder and said personal feud may be the reason.
