Panel to look into docs’ demands

Andhra Govt agrees to form a 6-member panel to look into all the demands of the striking doctors, reports Ashok Das.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday agreed to constitute a six-member committee to look into all the demands of the striking doctors. The committee will look into the doctors’ demands and submit a report within three months.

The government also agreed to the demands of the doctors to establish an police out-post at the Niloufer Hospital besides withdrawing the cases booked against them.
