Socialite Paris Hilton is in talks to appear in the new series of British reality show Celebrity Big Brother.

Socialite Paris Hilton is in talks to appear in the new series of British reality show Celebrity Big Brother. She wants to show those who see her just as a wild child that she is smart and funny.

Hilton has been offered $600,000 to appear in the Channel 4 programme scheduled for January 2008.

Contactmusic.com quoted a show insider as saying: "She wants people to see that she is not a bimbo or wild child. She's actually smart and funny, with lots of interesting things to say. She would easily be the star of the show - but obviously won't do it unless the money is right."

The offer makes the hotel heiress the highest paid celebrity on the show so far

“We told Paris, ‘Name your price’. We’re in firm talks, and it would be a fantastic coup to get her,” the Sun quoted an insider, as saying.

However, there is no news on other inmates on the show.
