Despite missing the three-match Test series in South Africa, pacer Irfan Pathan has moved up two places in the official bowlers' rankings while Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble maintained their places in the top-10 lists.

Pathan, 22, is now ranked 14th with 631 rating points, while leg-spinner Anil Kumble is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 at the third place with 731 points in the Test rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC) released on Wednesday.

Dravid, the only Indian batsman in top 10, retained his seventh position with 816 points, while his Australian counterpart Ricky Ponting still leads the pack with 936 points. Pathan was sent back home during the second Test against SA.
