Talking to Hindustan Times over phone, MPSEB secretary P K Vaishya said that the committee would take into consideration the paying capacity of the Board while determining pay revision. It would also consider recommendations of retired Chief Justice Verma and see whether the recommendations were logical or not.

The committee would also hold discussions with various Associations and Unions. The committee would also take into consideration the financial burden, which will come on the Board in the event of hike in salary.

The three members of the committee are Transmission Company Chairman-cum-managing director R K Verma, financial advisor to MPSEB Pankaj Agarwal and MPSEB Secretary P K Vaishya.
