PDP ahead of NC in J&K

Ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidates were leading over their nearest National Conference rivals in Anantnag and Baramulla parliamentary constituencies.
Ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidates were leading over their nearest National Conference rivals in Anantnag and Baramulla parliamentary constituencies, while NC president was ahead of his PDP rival in Srinagar Lok Sabha seat after the completion of the first round of counting in J&K.

NC president Omar Abdullah was leading over PDP candidate Ghulam Nabi Lone by 3500 votes after the completion of first round of counting.

In Anantnag parliamentary constituency, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti was leading by 2500 votes over her NC rival Mehboob Beg.
PDP candidate from Baramulla Nizam-ud-din Bhat was also leading over NC candidate Abdul Rashid Shaheen by 1100 votes.
