Petrol pump manager robbed

A PETROL PUMP manager was robbed of a gold chain and scooter by three thieves Saturday night. According to Raoji Bazaar police, Jamboo Kumar Ajmera, who works in the capacity of manager at Usha Raj petrol pump Naulakha, was returning home after closing the pump at round 1.15 am in Parsi Mohalla when he was accosted by three youths in the dark.

A PETROL PUMP manager was robbed of a gold chain and scooter by three thieves Saturday night. According to Raoji Bazaar police, Jamboo Kumar Ajmera, who works in the capacity of manager at Usha Raj petrol pump Naulakha, was returning home after closing the pump at round 1.15 am in Parsi Mohalla when he was accosted by three youths in the dark.

The youths riding a motorbike came in front of his scooter forcing him to stop in a darkened alley near Teen-Ikka Pulse Mill.

One of the youths asked him to hand over his mobile and cash and on learning that he was carrying none one of them threw red chilli powder in his eyes and snatched his gold chain.

The thieves did not stop at that. They also rode away with his rickety old Bajaj Super scooter (number MP 09 F 4075). Ajmera contacted the Sanyogitaganj police, which transferred the case as per area of jurisdiction to the Raoji Bazaar police.

The complainant stated that both items stolen were worth about Rs 4,000 each. The police have registered a case against the three unidentified thieves.
