It was a highly entertaining evening. DT Cinemas, in association with Airtel, hosted a pulsating concert by Euphoria led by Hindi rock idol Palash Sen.
As music lovers trooped in, the lovely décor and the mouthwatering delicacies of the food mart greeted them, but it was the music that was the biggest attraction.

“The idea is to create an entertainment zone for the people so that we can bring food, theatre and music together under one roof. We want people to come in here and unwind. Ultimately, these innovations will keep brand fatigue at bay,” said Kajal Aijaz, CEO and director, DT Cinemas. Concurred marketing vice president Rajat Kumar: “Euphoria seemed to be the perfect band for us as their versatility defines what we are all about. There energetic brand of music is bound to keep everyone happy.”
Euphoria plunged into the evening with a cover version of A.R Rahman’s Vande Mataram that had the crowd in a thrall. But the real potential of Euphoria’s success came to the fore when they played a diversity of numbers. From Pink Floyd’s Another brick in the wall to their own composition Dhoom Pichuk Dhoom, their versatile repertoire was as spicy as it could get.
“This is the first time that we are actually playing in a mall and it’s really nice to see the number of people who have turned out tonight. One can’t define our music, as we tend to vary from one song to another. So don’t be surprised if you hear a Hindi movie song and the next one as a hard rock n’ roll number, because we play everything that will make the crowd jive with us,” said vocalist Palash Sen.
