Police arrests youth on charges of raping 10-yr-old girl

Gajanan Daulat Sawarkar (28), a resident of Anand nagar here, raped the 10-year-old girl of the same locality here near the Nagbaba temple under the jurisdiction of Kholapuri gate police station after kidnapping her from her house on Wednesday night.
He then went to his friend's house in the night and then reached his house on Thursday morning. He, then, left his house by taking a tiffin box with him and then reached Anjangaon Bari village and did the labour work. He had then reached to Amravati Railway Station to go to Bhusawal by Amravati-Bhusawal passenger after taking money from the contractor for the work.
As there was some time for the departure of the Amravati-Bhusawal passenger, he went to Nehru ground here. At the same time, Crime Branch police, on the tip off, caught him here at the ground yesterday.
