Police claim proof of drug consumption by Rahul

Police claim to have found evidence to prove that Moitra, Rahul and Sahil had consumed drugs.

Police on Tuesday said it has found evidence to prove that Vivek Moitra, Rahul Mahajan and Sahil had consumed drugs during a late night party at the residence of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan on June 1.

"Sahil and Rahul have been arrested, while Moitra died of drug consumption. Till now we have established that all three of them had consumed drugs," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manish Agarwal told reporters in New Delhi.

Asked about the questioning of Rahul, he said the police was gathering details about the "whole episode and what happened after that if he (Rahul) knows about it."

Police arrested Rahul only after gathering sufficient evidence to prove his involvement in the case.
