Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted early on Sunday that 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon, who is on death row, should not be executed.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted early on Sunday that 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon, who is on death row, should not be executed.
Instead, hang his brother Tiger Memon, the key conspirator of the explosions who is absconding, Khan wrote on Twitter.
Ujjwal Nikam, special public prosecutor in the 1993 blasts case, slammed Khan for his tweets supporting Memon. Amid a raging controversy, even Khan's father, Salim Khan, said the tweets were wrong.
