Resentment prevailed among residents against the apathetic attitude of the Power Corporation employees in attending their complaints .

They were especially sore with the employees of Buxipur and Laldiggi substations who refused to attend the complaints.

The city is reeling under acute power crisis for the last four days. Scheduled rostering for eight hours in the morning and late evening often goes beyond the fixed hours. Added to this is undeclared power cuts at late night hours forcing people to pass sleepless nights.

Meanwhile, Power Corporation GM Suresh Ram said power was suspended at late night on Monday due to sudden fall in power generation.

He said he had discussed the issue with senior officials in Lucknow and was hopeful that late night power rostering would not be continued.
