He says, “I endeavour to live up to the Tata Group community philosophy of what comes from the people must go back to the people, many times over. I donate 5% of my earnings for charitable causes. Also, I am trying my best to create awareness for the TCS Adult Literacy Program”.
An avid traveller, Krishna is also fond of attending parties organised across town. “The parties should be elegant and I like to dress appropriately for the occasion,” he says. Yet, he also asserts, “Never discard your old value system since it would lead to some kind of normlessness in society with catastrophic results!”
So what has he been reading lately? “It’s Stephen Covey’s First things first”. His life begins and ends from work and there is no place for anything else. “My inability to maintain a work-life balance, I sometimes feel like a candle burning at both ends,” he says when you ask him about any regrets.
And, his biggest ambition right now is “to be at peace with myself,” he say. As part of his highly-demanding work schedule, he says, “I keep myself busy with various corporate responsibility programmes of the Tata Group within Lucknow.”
”I am completely involved in the activities of the Lucknow Management Association (LMA) which has been doing excellently in all activities it has taken up especially in grooming all the young managers in the city by providing them good exposure to the experiences of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and other senior managers who run professionally-managed corporations within and outside Lucknow,” Krishna added.
