Reports in Governance Now, Zee News and Times Now late Tuesday said that Dr Sudhir Gupta had made the revelation in an affidavit to the central administrative tribunal.

When contacted, Gupta refused to comment. But hospital sources confirmed Gupta had written to CAT and had submitted email exchanges as proof.

Pushkar, wife of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, was found dead in a Delhi hotel on January 17. Her death was termed ‘sudden’ and ‘unnatural’.
