"This is a non-issue. Only BJP is making it an issue," she said describing her mother as an alternative leader of the country.

Asked why she did not campaign for Congress in the assembly polls, Priyanka, after exercising her franchise, told reporters she did not feel the need as the party was doing well in all the four states.

On whether she would campaign during next year's assembly elections, she said she would take a decision then.

When referred to her presence at the booth to cast vote along with BJP leader and Union Minister Jagmohan, Priyanka said she had been taught by her mother to respect elders.
