THE PRO-RESERVATIONISTS stuck to their demands and continued their protests and meetings in Allahabad University (AU) to garner support. AU Student Union president Ajit Yadav urged the students to sink their difference and come together in favour of reservation. Yadav urged the students to unite and formulate a strategy for immediate and positive results. He said that many groups demanding reservation from AU authorities should target the Central Government for reservation. The reservations would be implemented in the varsity only after the Central Government issued directives. Yadav said that the demonstrations staged by the anti-reservationists in Delhi were guided by capitalists and industrialists and the students would have to face these capitalists and industrialists in their struggle for reservation.
