The bench took the decision on revision petitions filed on Wednesday by Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Vinay Katiyar, Uma Bharati and VHP leaders Ashok Singhal, Vishnu Hari Dalmia, Acharaya Giriraj Kishore and Sadhvi Rithambara challenging the Rae Bareli court's decision to frame charges against them.

Another accused in the case HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi got a reprieve last week in a High Court order which stayed the Rae Bareli court's decision to frame charges against him.

Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani was discharged by the trial court in the case earlier.
