Prohibitory orders imposed
THE DISTRICT administration has imposed prohibitory measures in view of the forthcoming Assembly session. District Magistrate S K Mishra has ordered imposition of Section 144 in areas around the Assembly including the route from Lily Talkies to Roshanpura, Banganga to Raj Bhawan, Old SP Office to Shabban Chauraha and Jail Road, Madia Mill to Board Office, Jabreshwar Mandir square, Vidhan Sabha to Raj Bhawan and Roshanpura to Patrakar Bhawan.

Similarly, the road linking Gulab Udyan to 74 Bungalows and Patrakar Bhawan apart from Vindhyachal Bhawan, Satpura, Vallabh Bhawan, Arera Exchange, Om Nagar, Bhim Nagar and Vallabh Nagar have also been brought under it.
Demonstration and processions cannot be taken out. More than five persons cannot gather at any spot within this area and no arms could be carried. Besides, no effigy could be burnt during this period. The prohibitory measures would be enforced from July 17 to 28.
