Protest against I-T notice to Bachchans

During the protest, women were carrying placards ‘Income tax sharam karo sharam karo’, ‘Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan ka shoshan band karo band karo’. They strongly criticised the alleged partial attitude of the I-T department.
The Muslim women were of the view that issuing notice by the I-T department to the Bachchan family was a prejudice act taken as part of vindictive politics.

They said the I-T department was under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and the Centre was using it as a tool to harass the Bachchan family.

President of Prerna, Baddruddin, who led the demonstration, said if the I-T department did not relent soon, his organisation would launch a massive movement against the I-T department.

Madina Bivi, Sazida Khatoon, Mehrun Nisha, Lalli, Sita, Asha, Arun Keshari and Murlidhar Jaiswal took part.
