“The judgment violates the human rights of individuals and goes against the liberal values of our Constitution.” AAP said.

Incidentally, AAP had drawn lot of flak on social networking site, especially twitter, for not issuing any reaction on the important SC judgment on Wednesday.

“The Supreme Court judgment thus criminalises the personal behaviour of consenting adults. All those who are born with or choose a different sexual orientation would thus be placed at the mercy of the police,” said an AAP statement. The party also expected the Parliament to step in to repeal the archaic law.
