Rahman does it again

The music maestro's new Tamil album, Jillunu Oru Kathal, has been ranked number one yet again.

Music maestro AR Rahman's new Tamil album Jillunu Oru Kathal is a huge hit. In fact, Rahman hasn't had such a big hit for a long time in Tamil. The title track Jillunu oru kathal and Munbevaa, a melody by Shreya Ghoshal and Naresh Iyer, are chartbusters.

The other albums to appear on the list this fortnight are Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu by Harris Jayaraj and Vallavan by Yuvan Shankar Raja, which have occupied the second and the third place. Loose Penne from Vallavan, sung by Silambarasan and Blaze is another huge hit this season.

Maane manne, a song from the album Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, is another favourite amongst the masses. The album, which has been composed by Devisri Prasad, has been placed fourth. The album to occupy the fifth spot is Aran by Joshua Sridhar.
