"I have not decided anything, nor have I fixed any date," a charismatic Gandhi replied to a scribe who wanted to know his future plans of getting married.

"By asking this question, you are embarrassing me", he said.

A first time MP from Amethi, however, said his commitment to politics was "'absolutely nothing" to do with his marriage plans.
