Nathulal, circle inspector of Kota's Bheemganjmandi police station, informed that Indrapal Singh (45), a railway employee of Hisar (Haryana), created a fake profile on the social networking site Facebook using the name Ravindra and developed friendship with a 22-year-old college girl of the city.

Indrapal called the girl to a hotel in Kota on Wednesday where he raped her. Later the girl lodged a police complaint. The police subsequantly arrested Indrapal Singh and the hotel manager, Rajesh Ahuja, for facilitating stay of accused in the hotel without proper documentation and identity.

Police informed that the accused had also made clipping of the girl while raping her. The victim is a resident of Sogariya area of Kota City and is a final year student of a college in Kota.

Police on Thursday produced the accused before the court and sought a one day police remand for further investigation in the case.
