Raising a toast to dad
This Father’s Day, HT City asked youngsters how they plan to celebrate the day with their dads.
My dad’s favourite dish is Tandoori Chicken. So, I will take the initiative and cook that to make him feel special. I will also make a card for him.
— Deepika Sobti, Architecture student

I will give my dad a huge card and a gift and then cook for him. Though I have never cooked, but I would like to do it because that would make him feel special.
— Jasjeet Singh, Animation student
I will take my dad out for dinner to his favourite restaurant and treat him to whatever he wants to eat. This is his day and he deserves to enjoy it.
— Ishita Saran, Student, DPS Greater Noida
My dad is in China these days so I will call him up on Father’s Day. I’ll tell him how much he means to me. I plan to make a collage of all his pictures and gift it to him once he is back.
— Sonal Kumar, Sri Venkateswara College
This year, I will ensure that my dad remembers this day forever. I am organising a havan and will pray for his long and healthy life. To make it even better, I will throw a surprise party and gift a card to him that will read ‘Number one dad’.
— Atul Bhardwaj, Animation student
