He said that such statements show the ideological bankruptcy of the oldest party of the state.
Kaul said with his forecasts about the PDP, Rana might be creating 'waves', but in the process, he was making himself conspicuous for his acts of 'omission and commission' being one of the most powerful leader of the ruling party. He said Rana's forecast about PDP's disintegration was a therapy for his post-2014 nightmares.
Kaul also questioned the phenomenal rise in the assets and business of NC spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, another confidante of chief minister Omar Abdullah.
He said NC had ruled in the state for most part of its existence and the present chaos, instability and development crisis were the result of its failures.
Kaul said in a democracy it was important that the ruling party and opposition engage in constructive debate on the issues concerning the people, which the NC-led coalition was not letting happen.
