Rank Disorder

Surfers have ranked Bihar's problems in the order of importance that they accord them. "Poor Governance" gets the most votes.

We ran a week-long survey (July 26 - August 1, 2004), asking our surfers to rank Bihar's problems in the order of importance that they accorded them.

The response was positive. While an overwhelming majority of participants thought that Poor Governance was Bihar's biggest concern, there were those who accorded more priority to High Illiteracy and Rising Crime.

Sick Industry and Stagnant Agriculture notched up the last two slots.
