The medical check-up of a woman who had claimed that she was gangraped in a moving car in Ghaziabad has not confirmed rape.
The Ghaziabad police claim that the nurse had cooked up the story after she wasn't given a job that she went looking for at a placement agency in Ghaziabad.
The placement agency's owner B.L Bakshi had rejected her application as she was overweight.
Bakshi, however, asked his driver to drop her till Munirka where she was staying with her relatives. The woman claimed that near Mohan Nagar, the driver and four of his friends got into the car and raped her.
The driver claimed that the woman got down near Mohan Nagar and started screaming for help. The woman did not turn up for a medical examination till a day after the incident, leading the police to go by the driver's version.
The woman's relatives, however, allege that the Sahibabad police are trying to hush up the case.
