Accompanied by his wife-lawyer Abha, 67-year-old Rathore after returning to his residence from the sessions court where he failed to get any immediate relief on his anticipatory bail plea in the case, told reporters, "We will only talk to the court".

Abha in turn asked the media to relax and take as many photos as they wanted and then walked in.

Rathore moved the bail plea following registration of two FIRs by Haryana Police last night in the molestation case of 14-year-old Ruchika who committed suicide later, and moves to file a fresh case of abetment to suicide.

The police registered the FIRs on the basis of complaints by Ruchika's father Subhash Chander Girhotra and her brother Ashu regarding alleged tampering of the post-mortem report by police and harassment of Ashu including attempt to murder him.

During the proceedings before District and Sessions Judge SP Singh on Rathore's bail plea, Abha alleged, "it is a case of media hype" and that she had come to know about the fresh FIRs through the press.
