"The government should impose a total ban on Indians travelling to that country (Pakistan)," BJP National Spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad said.

"The Centre should also recall the Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks," he added.

On the Left leaders' proposal to form a Third front in the country by joining hands with AIADMK, Prasad, who was here to attend the party's executive committee meeting, asked both CPI-M and CPI whether they could stand on common ground with Jayalalithaa's views on Sethu Samudram Canal Project.

"Do the CPI-M and CPI share her views", he asked.

Asked about the possible ties with political parties for the coming Lok Sabha polls, he said BJP was open to an alliance with political parties which would join the NDA and accept Advani as Prime Ministerial candidate.

Prasad said the BJP would go to the people of Tamil Nadu with full enthusiasm, seeking their support for the coming Lok Sabha polls.
