Reliance assures to ease water crisis in Jamnagar

Jamnagar-based Reliance Group of Industries has assured to assist the Gujarat government to ease the water crisis, by supplying water during summer.

Jamnagar-based Reliance Group of Industries has assured to assist the Gujarat government to ease the water crisis, by supplying water during summer.

As per telephonic talks between Chief Minister Narendra Modi and RIL Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, the company would run 50 tankers daily for supply of water to Khambhalia town in the district, RIL executive Parimal Nathwani said in a release.

Ambani has also assured to allocate Rs 17 lakh for the construction of sump in Khambhalia town to preseve the water so that people could get adequate water. The town would also be supplied Narmada waters in trains under Narmada Rail Transport project.
