Have you dropped a fizzy drink on your favourite sofa, here're a few tips to remove similar stains.

Cola stains: If you have dropped a fizzy drink on your favourite sofa, spray some talcum powder on it to let it absorb the colour. Next dust it and wipe it with a wet towel.
Red wine stains: The safest way is to use a damp paper napkin and then use a gentle fabric cleaner to remove the mark . Let it dry naturally. If the stain persists, get your upholstery dry cleaned.
Dirt marks: Dry Clean your upholstery and curtains regularly to remove accumulated dirt and moisture stains. Negligence in cleaning may result into damages like weakening of fabric , permanent stains and frayed edges.
Water stains: Water stains on your upholstery should be immediately dried with a blow drier as dampness may damage your fabric and it’ll be difficult to restore it to its original state.
Cloth stains: If you wash curtains and other home furnishings together the colours of these fabrics can bleed into each other. So it is a better idea to have them dry cleaned separately. This way the colour of each fabric will remain intact and safe.
.Ketchup trouble: If you’ve stained your upholstery with ketchup, do not apply white wine, soda water, salt etc as it makes the stain more difficult to remove. Do not rub the stain; instead blot with white absorbent paper towel — one piece in front and one behind.
