The polling at 21 polling stations in outer Manipur (ST) Lok Sabha seat, which was adjourned, will now be held on May 17, state Election officials said on Thursday.

They said repolling at these polling stations could not be held last on April 30 due to security problems.
They said of the 21 polling stations, eight fall in Jiribam sub division in Imphal East district and the rest in Churachandpur district bordering with Mizoram.
Adequate security arrangements would be made for the repolling, they said adding that counting of votes for this constituency would be taken on May 19.
Meanwhile, official sources said counting of votes for Inner Manipur Lok Sabha seat would begin as per schedule at 8 am on May 13.
While Outer Manipur (ST) went to polls on April 20 in first phase, polls were held in Inner Manipur on April 26 in second phase, sources added.
