Rising crime: 4 cases of theft in 24 hours

Four cases of house breaking have been reported in the city on Friday.
In the first incident, burglars broke open a house at Tulip Gardens in Sector 56 and took away valuables worth R12 lakh on Friday.
According to the police, the family members were away when the incident took place.
After they found their house ransacked and valuables missing, they approached police. A case has been registered at Sector 56 police station.
Other incidents were reported from Mehfil Gardens, Palam Vihar and Udyog Vihar.
Several residents’ bodies have complained about rise in the number of such petty crimes and asked for increased police patrolling in their areas.
