CONGRESS TODAY said that the entire Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) clan has become active in devising ways to save its face following the sleaze CD episode involving disgraced Bharatiya Janata Party organisation general secretary Sanjay Joshi.

State Congress spokesperson, Manak Agrawal said that a three-day convention of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office-bearers from Madhya Pradesh at Vidisha from January 13 is also an exercise in the same direction. Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh functionary Mohan Bhagwat is likely to attend the convention.

Similarly, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief K S Sudarshan is himself arriving at Sagar to attend a three-day convention of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office-bearers from Mahakoshal region from January 15.

The objective behind the flurry of activities by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the State seemed to be giving directives to its functionaries on damage control exercise following sleaze CD episode, which has made a severe dent on its reputation and at the same time maintain constant pressure on the Bharatiya Janata Party Government in Madhya Pradesh to hush up the matter, he said.
