Salman rejects Katrina, casts Deepika!

Though Katrina was filmmaker Atul Agnihotri's first choice for the remake of South flick Bodyguard, but brother-in-law Salman thought that Deepika was a better choice for the role.

Though Katrina was filmmaker Atul Agnihotri's first choice for the remake of South flick Bodyguard, but brother-in-law Salman thought that Deepika was a better choice for the role.



The actor was apparently keen on working with Deepika and felt that the two would look good on screen.



A source says, "Salman is keen on working with Deepika. He feels they will look good on screen. When Atul suggested Katrina's

name, he shot it down saying the project needed a fresh pairing. He's watched the original and thought Deepika would fit the role perfectly."

It might be recalled that Salman wanted to work with Deepika in Anees Bazmee's Ready, but things didn't work out and Asin was finalised.

It seems Katrina is not lucky for Salman, atleast in movies.
