SEBI to continue with existing system for IPOs

SEBI said it has no plans to revise the existing system for IPOs, under which quotas are provided for various class of investors.

Market regulator SEBI on Tuesday said it has no plans to revise the existing system for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), under which quotas are provided for various class of investors.

"SEBI has no plans to do away with the existing systems for Initial Public Offerings," it said in a formal statement.
